In Programming Cones, we explored the capabilities to not only shape a bacterial co-created material, but also its properties, like flexibility, stiffness, texture and colour.
We used the term of programming for this subsequent process. The new material provides the potential to serve as an alternative to fossil plastics and composite materials being tangible as a prototype in the shape of a cone.
