About

Stefan Schwabe and Jannis Hülsen have been working together as Matter+Meta on various projects in a transdisciplinary network since 2013. Between design, research and teaching, both are developing spaces and processes for transformation.

As designers, they share a common fascination for encounters with the unknown, the conditions for the emergence of the new and the motivation to enable people to deal with them. These form the common thread for their joint work.

Coupled with curiosity, they use their perspective and skills as designers to explore intermediate spaces in concrete projects to develop new perspectives and new ideas.
