Signs  of  Change  in  Schmalkalden

Over a period of four weeks, we transformed Schmalkalden into a futures laboratory in public space. Along an urban walking route, speculative signs invited people to discover and question different futures and to engage in conversation with one another.

This work was based on hyperlocal future scenarios developed in dialogue with teenagers, young adults, and local actors from administration and civil society.
