Terrific views
Summer is a season of abundance and harvest, but it also brings heat and scarcity. Our landscapes have been shaped by human demands, requiring vast resources and space, which affects other species and entire ecosystems. "Terrific" reflects this duality—what is beneficial for some can be detrimental to others.
"Terrific Views" was conceptulised as a one week workshop as part of the Design Campus Summer School program at Schloss Hubertusburg in Wermsdorf.
With international students, we explored various perspectives to gain new understandings of landscape. Through a blend of hands-on activities, interactive research, theoretical insights, and practical knowledge, we engaged in an open discussion about landscape. Together, we developped architectures and tools, created texts, and shared thoughts.
